Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman (American gymnast) was both a team member and the team captain for the Fierce Five in 2012 in addition to the 2015 Final Five US Women Olympic Gymnastics. In 2012, she was awarded gold medals in team competitions along with the floor exercise. On the balance beam, Raisman earned a bronze. In the end, she was the very first American to compete at an Olympics with the top amount of medals. She and the teammate Gabby Doug were the very first Americans who won back-toback golds in team events. She also won silver medals at the individual all-around event as well as for the floor. The three years that passed between the two Olympics the athlete took a break. Also, she has been part of two world championship gold teams. She began learning gymnastics when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercise. Aly is a member of her favorite charity, the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to commemorate her grandmother who passed away from cancer. She is planning to pursue a career in fashion and hopes to broaden her signature line of leotards and socks in future. Fierce is a novel she's writing, will be out this year.
